Mac requirements

The final minimum macOS version, supported Mac models, storage requirement and permission list will be copied from the approved release—not estimated here.

Apple-first connections

The first launch uses Messages, Apple Mail and Apple Calendar. Direct Google and Microsoft connections are not offered. A Gmail account may be available indirectly when it is already configured through Apple Mail and Calendar on the Mac.

Optional iPhone access

Use the QR guidance inside Daisuke Bear. Initial remote access requires the separate trusted Tailscale companion app. Daisuke Bear does not include its own VPN. The final guide will include safe installation, sign-in and disconnect steps.

Safe installation

Only download the installer from the official Daisuke Bear website. The public installer will appear here only after it is Developer ID signed, Apple-notarized, tested and approved by Dave.

Before contacting support

Record the app version, macOS version, the screen where the problem occurred and the exact error wording. Never email passwords, API keys, recovery codes or private message contents.
